HARRIS TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

Minutes of May 1, 2003

MEMBERS PRESENT:

Chairman Dennis Hameister, Vice- Chairman Charles Graham, Supervisor Cliff Warner and Supervisor Nigel Wilson

OTHERS PRESENT:

Interim Township Manager Todd, Township Manager Search and Screening Committee, Tom Kurtz, Patton Township Manager.

CALL TO ORDER:

Chairman Hameister called the May 1, 2003 meeting of the Harris Township Board of Supervisors to order at 4:03 P.M.

APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES:

No meeting minutes were approved at the meeting.

CITIZENS COMMENTS:

No citizen comments were offered at the meeting.

At 4:04 p.m., Chairman Hameister recessed the meeting into Executive Session to discuss matters of personnel.

Supervisor Graham left the meeting at 4:45 p.m.

Supervisor Wilson left the meeting at 5:05 p.m.

At 5:22 p.m., Chairman Hameister reconvened the public meeting.

Chairman Hameister indicated that candidates for the vacant Township Manager position had been interviewed by the Search and Screening Committee, which had recommended a list of four final candidates. Mr. Hameister continued that the Board should quickly schedule interviews with the four candidates, which he would attempt to do immediately.

Chairman Hameister indicated that he would work with staff to finalize details of the interview times and coordinate a short tour of the Township and / or Centre Region as part of the interview process.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:30 p.m. due to a lack of quorum.
