Periodic Power Outages

The Township continues to be plagued by periodic power outages. The Board of Supervisors recently directed Staff to contact the Public Utilities Commission to discuss our issues with the power outages. The PUC is looking into the matter and will provide the Township with an update in a few weeks.
In the meantime, please continue to send power outage reports to my attention ( akfarkas@comcast.net). They can also be sent directly to Tom Kearney at West Penn Power at tkearne@firstenergycorp.com.

Line Extension

Columbia Gas gave a presentation and answered resident’s questions at the Board's August meeting on the process for extending natural gas lines. Efforts will continue to gauge interest in having gas lines extended in the Township.  They have asked interested residents to complete the form linked below (in both Word and pdf formats). Please complete and return the form to the Township Manager via email at akfarkas@comcast.net or by dropping it off or mailing it to the office,
